Keeping it honest
Removing it
Four commands in this order, because the second one needs the app to still be there.
pkill -x lampboard
/Applications/LampBoard.app/Contents/MacOS/lampboard uninstall-hooks
rm -rf ~/.lampboard "$HOME/Library/Application Support/lampboard"
tccutil reset Accessibility com.lampboard.app
tccutil reset AppleEvents com.lampboard.app
Then drag the app to the Trash.
uninstall-hooks reaches both configurations, Claude Code's and Codex's, and removes only the registrations it added, leaving the rest of each file alone. The helper and the lampmaster server go with them. The script itself stays on disk; nothing runs it any more.
The tccutil lines take the authorizations back, which the Trash does not do on its own. A record left behind is what makes a later reinstall behave strangely: the app appears in the list with its switch on, and holds nothing.
Just the connection
If you want to keep the app but stop it watching, Disconnect… is in Settings › Claude Code & Codex. It asks first, and takes the helper out with the connection. lampboard uninstall-hooks does the same from a terminal, and lampboard mod uninstall takes out the helper alone.
Homebrew
brew uninstall --cask lampboard
Run uninstall-hooks and the two tccutil lines first, in the order above. Homebrew removes the app, not the two things that live outside it.
